About This Blog

This blog was first intended to be used during my summer internship in 2015 at Village of Hope Uganda (villageofhopeuganda.com) for the purpose of updating family and friends back home about my experiences.

I decided to bring it back 3 years later for a similar purpose. Instead of updates from the Ugandan countryside, I’m writing my experiences from wherever God decides to place me. Since leaving VOH, this has included Virginia, Washington state, and Texas.

Expect a lot of crazy trains of thought. As someone who was a psych major in undergrad, I have a lot of thoughts. Also expect a lot of song recommendations. I love sharing my life through music, I really do. So when you see those songs pop up at the end of my posts, please know that they’re what I feel to be as true of a connection between us as possible.

Thanks for visiting the site. You’re pretty cool if you’ve kept reading this long.
